The Internet Download Manager is a shareware download manager owned by the American company Tycoon which is based in New York City. It is only available for the Microsoft Windows operating system. Internet Download Manager is a tool that manages and schedules downloads. It can use full bandwidth.

The way IDM and similar software work is that with the increase in connectivity at the same time - which has 8 connections by default and a maximum of 32 connections - it captures almost all segments of Internet bandwidth and significantly increases download speeds.
